The first written notes of the Golden Star House date back to 1372 when it was owned by the Mayor of Hradcany. During the next centuries the House changed its owners several times, among then we can find Czech kings\' servants, members of different religious orders and many important Prague burghers.
The recently finished recontruction preserved the original architectural elements and completed them carefully with luxury facilities of modern way of life. Just next to the elevator you can find a 270 year old staircase, you can see the original ornamental plastering of the ceiling, but also the most modern bathroom.
The hotel offers double rooms, twin rooms and suites. Subtle and interesting colour combinations, quality fabrics and fine furniture enhance the character of the rooms. |
